Rev. Nadia Bolz-Weber writes, "Never once did Jesus scan the room for the best example of holy living and send that person out to tell others about him. He always sent stumblers and sinners. And I find that comforting." This Sunday we will be inspired, comforted, and decentered by the story of "Blind Bartimaeus" in Mark 10 who certainly falls into that category. (Think of that person who hangs out in the Trader Joe's parking lot asking for money and making a ruckus- you'll get the energy.)
Join us Sunday for "Get Up! (egeiró: ἐγείρω): Moving With Heart Courage (tharseó: θαρσέω) and Clearing Our Sight. I look forward to seeing you as we continue our Lenten Journey together. -Rev. Jeanne
