Jan Richardson writes in her Pentecost Blessing, "This is the blessing that blazes among us. When we speak into the words strange to our ears. When we finally listen into the chaos. When we breathe together at last."  I love that she references the mystery, the collective experience and the chaos. Pentecost is at its core an amazing and yet unsettling day. The call of Pentecost is to speak and listen across languages and ways of being. It's about breathing together as individuals and community as we try to embody, define and articulate the undefinable, unknowable mysteries of God.
